The Foothills Community Foundation (FCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources for education, community service and cultural enrichment to residents of all ages throughout Cave Creek, Carefree and North Scottsdale.
Serving the Desert Foothills community since 1986, FCF provides a broad spectrum of important programs and services, ranging from it's Partners in Education Program, providing funding and enrichment opportunities to local area schools, to its award winning Desert Foothills Theater, to exciting educational and social offerings made possible through other FCF programs, such as MindQuest, Desert Awareness, and the Foothills Film Society.
The tremendous role played by FCF as an important community connection was clearly demonstrated last year, with the grand opening of FCFs new, 10,000 square foot community center, the FCF-Holland Community Center.
The FCF-Holland Community Center offers Desert Foothills residents an opportunity to enjoy a multitude of programs and services in a warm and inviting, state-of-the-art community meeting space.
FCF also created a partnership with the Desert Foothills YMCA and Paradise Valley Community College, playing an instrumental role in bringing these resources to the Desert Foothills community. The three organizations are housed in the Black Mountain Campus on 60th Street just south of Carefree Highway.
