Photo by Paul D. Maley: A new comet was discovered recently and it is rounding the Sun in the morning sky but very close to the eastern horizon. This is comet NEOWISE which is barely visible to the naked eye between 413 and 423am. We need to keep the skies dark around here so beautiful things like this can be seen and photographed! it made its closest approach to the Sun yesterday and will be closest to Earth on July 23.
