Magic Bird Carefree Indian Market & Cultural Festival: 1/26/14
The 3rd annual Magic Bird Carefree Indian Market and Cultural Festival was held in the Carefree Desert Gardens January 24th-26th. Many fine Native American artists had booths with their art for sale, including jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and textiles. The featured entertainers were "Native Spirit" starring Brian Hammill, 4 time World Champion hoop dancer. He was joined by his 10 year old son in a dance on this video.
The weather was gorgeous and the Festival was well attended. I think everyone had a good time. I know we did! (And, yes, I did shop.) Enjoy Herbert's video. We hope to see you there next year.
